Welcome to Kay Days Inc. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Our mission is to support cancer patients during their difficult journey by providing multiple days of free parking for patients visiting Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and supporting people in our own community at Hahne Cancer Center in DuBois, Pennsylvania. We understand the challenges faced during treatment, and we aim to alleviate some of that burden.

Since 2023, we have held 11 Kay Days at Hillman Cancer Center.
We've paid the parking fees for nearly 3,400 vehicles of patients and caregivers.
The
Story
Behind
Kay Days
For more than 20 years, Kay Boyd-Rowe and her husband Robin traveled to Hillman Cancer Center for her appointments, treatments, scans, and tests. On one of those trips, upon retrieving their car from the parking garage, they were told that their parking fees were paid by a local business who donated the parking fees for everyone coming to Hillman Cancer Center that day. Both Robin & Kay were very touched by this gesture. On their ride home, Kay commented, “I would love to do this one day.” On May 12, 2023, Kay passed away, but her legacy to love first lives on. To honor Kay’s wish, the “Kay Days Fund” has been established at Hillman Cancer Center every year on or around her birthday, June 23rd. On the designated “Kay Days”, all parking fees are paid for all patients using the Hillman Cancer Center parking garage. As this non-profit organization continues to grow, we are now able to provide multiple days of free parking on scheduled “Kay Day’s” at Hillman Cancer Center each year.

Kay Days Inc. will proudly cover patient parking costs at Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh from June 23 to June 27. We are honored to continue this initiative for the third year, supporting patients and their families during their visits.

Kay Days Inc. plans show support to patients at our local cancer center in DuBois, Pennsylvania. On June 23 and 24 we'll be offering flowers, cards, giveaways, and more to uplift spirits and show our dedication to helping people in our community affected by cancer. Together, we can bring a smile to those who need it!

NEW in 2025: Helping Hahne Cancer Center Patients
Kay Days is providing parking passes for patients from Hahne Cancer Center in DuBois that need to go to Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh for appointments. After receiving some recent generous donations, we will also include a gas card for these patients to help with their travel expenses.
The First Kay Days Fundraising Event in 2024
Our first Kay Days Fundraiser Event was a huge success. A night of music, food, and raffles raised over $12,000 for patient parking at Hillman Cancer Center. This paid for seven days of parking, which exceeded our expectations.
